Warning lights

Warning lights can cause confusion – the basic rule is:

If a red warning light comes on (or fails to extinguish after you’ve started the engine) you should stop as soon as possible in a safe place.

If a yellow or orange warning light comes on you can continue driving, but should visit a garage for interpretation of the fault.
