We began in a muddy field in Tidmarsh in 1991. Look at us now!  We have grown our business every year since opening.

Back in the day, PR Motors repaired horse boxes and other lorries in agricultural outbuildings. We even built a few along the way. After years of sustained success, we decided in 2004 that it was time to take the business to the next level, so we built a new modern workshop and became an accredited MOT testing station.

We now have 2 large workshops. In addition to the One Person MOT Testing Lane (OPTL) we have 6 more ramps.  We also have dedicated bays for each of 4 wheel alignment, aircon regas and tyre fitting, 2 offices and a customer waiting area.

We have plenty of parking, so if it’s convenient for you to leave your car with us whilst, for example, you go on holiday, that’s absolutely fine.

We haven’t only improved our workshop over the years, but we have added to the team too. We have carefully picked a number of mechanics to join PR Motors Reading, and they bring with them a wide knowledge based and vast experience of all manner of vehicles.
