Warning lights on the dash

The basic rule of thumb is: If the light’s red, STOP and call a garage. If it’s orange and the car is running correctly, then call a garage and make an appointment in the next week or two. Green lights are for information only.

We have invested heavily in diagnostic equipment – that’s the tool needed to identify the fault causing the light to come on. We can interpret the fault codes for you in clearly understood English. This can take up to an hour and we charge £75+vat.

From there we will again provide a no obligation quote and advise on how serious the fault is.

We have the same diagnostic capability as main agents for the following marques:

Audi, Seat, Skoda, VW, BMW, Land Rover, Jaguar, Citroen, Peugeot, Renault, Vauxhall and Ford.

We also have excellent equipment for all other marques.

Diagnostics is an area poorly understood by most drivers – it can be very technical. We explain things in as simple (or as complex) terms as you like.
