Well, here’s one reason why it’s important to check beyond what you can see.

We recently had this car in for its MOT and thought it was a great opportunity to show the difference between what you can see from the outside and what we can see when the vehicle is up on the ramp.

Both photos show the same tyre.

From the outside, the tyre looks perfectly fine at first glance. But once we had the vehicle up on the ramp, we could see the tyre cords showing through the tyre.
